Who is Rusty Bus Coffee?
Rusty Bus Coffee is Jeremy Hadden and Nate Johnson - two friends who live in the Columbia River Gorge in Washington, who met on a mountain bike ride back in ‘16. Both are like-minded individuals who dig mountain biking, snowboarding, sailing, surfing, good beer, great music, old VW buses and also happen to be obsessed with coffee.

Jeremy comes from the product design world, specializing in advanced product development focused in the outdoor industry. Never a fan of corporate jobs - he’s run his own contract business for the last 12 years.
Nate's background is in marketing and specializes in video production, photography and graphic design. Nate has been a freelance creative for over 8 years, and most of his career has consisted of working in the outdoor sporting good world with a focus on the bike industry.

The idea for starting a coffee business hatched after Jeremy started diving deep into the world of coffee roasting during Covid and experimenting with modified popcorn poppers and stovetop whirley-pots. Nate soon joined in the roasting fun and after many caffeine and/or beer fueled idea sessions later, Rusty Bus Coffee was born. After navigating a winding road with many road blocks, the dream is finally a reality.

Rusty Bus Coffee is a representation of the coffee they like to drink, and vibe they want to bring to their community and most importantly, a reminder to not take life too seriously.
